Two 18-hole championship standard golf courses are at your disposal, and although semi-private the staff are welcoming and very friendly towards visiting guests.
Both courses opened for play in 2017 and have quickly gained applause for their design and attention to detail.
The Lakeside course is perhaps the easier of the two courses, with wide fairways and enormous, undulating greens.
And although water comes into play on 12 holes, the wide fairways are wide enough for the water to not really affect play with too much regularity.
As the holes wind their way through the lakes and waterways, you will feel an air of serenity as you stroll down the fairways to the large green entrances which offer a chance of running the ball up onto the green, another benefit to the average golfer.
The second of the two courses at Vinpearl Hai Phong is the Marshland course and this is a little more special than the Lakeside.
At 7291 it is slightly shorter than The Lakeside layout, but don´t let that fool you. It is a tough course, one that puts an emphasis on keeping the ball in play and one that will be a shot-makers dream.
Narrow fairways call for accuracy rather than brawn to set up any chance of posting a good score.
Meandering through semi-natural wetlands, there is a plethora of local wildlife that seek refuge and again the tranquillity of the area is a real delight.
The ability to shape shots is a real bonus on The Marshland course as the small greens are well protected by grass-faced bunkers which blend perfectly into the surroundings and give a sense of real maturity to what is otherwise a young and upcoming golf course.
A lot of credit must be given to the design team, who have ensured a top-quality design, whilst maintaining the perfect balance with the natural habitat in the area.
It is this attention to detail that really makes the Vinpearl courses stand out
