Siam Country Club Plantation Course is another brilliant 27-hole course designed by Schmidt & Curley set high in the hills behind Pattaya affording panoramic views all around. This is another word-class course in every respect and a great golfing challenge. Definitely one of the Best Golf Courses in Thailand.

The name comes from the historic pineapple, sugar cane and tapioca plantations that used to occupy this site and each of the nine holes is named accordingly.

The course winds between the natural water courses and terrain and its elevated position means the prevailing wind can cool you down on those hot days but will also have a dramatic effect on your shot-making. Many of the greens are elevated with steep run-off areas so great precision is required around the greens.

Don’t let the 1st, a 370 yard dog-leg left with bunkers protecting the tiger line, lull you into thinking this course is easy as you quickly wake up to the fact that the Plantation Course at Siam Country Club was set up to provide a stern test of golf. You will encounter long carries over water, blind approaches, awkwardly raised greens and undulating fairways where a flat lie is a rarity.

The golf course is in perfect condition, manicured fairways bordered by thick rough and then even thicker gorse, and greens that are super quick, with none of the wear and tear often found on other courses.

Great course with some very tight fairways.

Can't really find any fault in the condition of the course the caddies and the clubhouse. Please note this course is cart path only unless you have a certificate.

I rate this as best course I have played in Thailand

This is a fantastic golf course - we played the Tapioca/Pineapple combination off the blue tees which made it very long and sometimes tough to even make the fairway off some tees! Every hole has been beautifully designed and you have to think carefully on every shot. All of the greens are very well protected with run-off areas all around leading to some tricky chips from tight lies. The greens were immaculate and fair and the speed increased as the sun got to them. This is a MUST play course!

"Top quality course - hard to find fault with anything"

The course was in perfect condition but it is very difficult , especially if you play off the back tees and marginally easier off the front tees. Some difficult multi-tiered greens with many run-off areas. The huge green complex near the clubhouse which is actually three greens in one is the largest I have ever seen - more than 100 metres across. Everything was perfect and it was a great day out.

"A really good quality and challenging course"

Its a really long courses with very fast greens and I think probably the most difficult of the three Siam Country Club courses. In superb condition with fairways like carpets and greens as smooth as a snooker table. A bit expensive but definitely worth the extra.

"Beautiful course spoilt by slow play"

The course is beautiful and it is in great condition. The changing rooms and the clubhouse are also Ok. Plenty of water and bunkers and overall a challenging a enjoyable course. My only complaint is that we got stuck behind a 5 ball so there was lots of waiting and the round took 5 hours which took some of the fun out of it.
