3 - Phuket Golf Holiday

A golf holiday in Phuket for those who have a bit more time on their hands and would like to play most of the golf courses in Phuket.

We start off at Laguna Golf Phuket, one of the best run golf courses in Phuket which underwent a major renovation a couple of years ago and the newly upgraded course is a joy to play.  It's not too long but the greens are well-protected and difficult to read once on the putting surface.

Blue Canyon Country Club Lakes Course is the sister course to the Canyon Course and is a lot easier although there is plenty to catch you out here with numerous water hazards to avoid.  Difficult start and end to the round so you need to take advantage of the easier holes in the middle of your round if you are to score well.

Red Mountain Golf Club is a spectacular course in a dramatic setting.  This is not for the faint-hearted as some very challenging holes but even if your golf is not up to scratch you will still enjoy the wonderful views.

Loch Palm Golf Club is the sister course to Red Mountain and a lot easier.  It skirts a large lake in the middle of the course and this comes into play on most of the opening holes.  Greens have a reputation for being inconsistent with some faster than others so difficult to get the pace.

Mission Hills Golf Resort is in a wonderful location with holes that go right up to the edge of the ocean offering dramatic views over the islands. Can be quite difficult when the wind blows but it’s a fun course to play although the maintenance is not always perfect.
