4 - Phuket Golf Package

Phuket is Thailand’s leading beach resort and unlike many of the other resorts in Thailand it has many different beaches to choose from, all offering slightly different options.   Phuket is also home to six golf courses with two more in the nearby province of Phang Nga and is a great place for an extended golf package.

If you are looking for nightlife them the main beach of Patong is the best choice.  It is also quite convenient for most of the golf courses.  However, it is very crowded and noisy so if you are looking for something a bit more peaceful then maybe try the Bangtao Beach area.

Blue Canyon Country Club is located in the north of the island, about 15 minutes from the airport.  The Lakes course is a popular choice as it’s a scenic course but not too difficult.  As its name suggests you will be faced with the occasional water carry and if you can successfully negotiate the opening four holes then you will set yourself up for a good round.

Red Mountain Golf Club is our bestselling course, not only because of the quality of the course itself, but also because of the spectacular and dramatic setting.  It is set in the red cliffs and jungle a short distance from Patong and it is an experience you will never forget.

Laguna Golf Phuket started out life as a very ordinary resort course but following a major renovation it is now one of the best courses in Phuket.  A bit shorter than some of the other courses but the greens are very well-protected and full of bumps and hollows which means your short game needs to be up to scratch.
