The Giri 9-holes is considered to be the front 9. Beautifully maintained throughout the year, the bent grass fairways and greens are superb.
Set within the rolling landscape the Giri course winds its way through the mature trees.
In general, the fairways are generous, flanked with large native trees, skilfully positioned fairway bunkers, allowing golfers to be aggressive from the tee.
Split into 3 par 3s, 3 par 4s and 3 par 5s the Giri offers great opportunities for birdies. The par 3, 6th hole is a particular delight requiring a tee shot that carries the large pond guarding the front of this small green.
Onto the back nine or Gahana loop.
Very similar in style to the Giri course, the Gahana has wide fairways and mid-sized greens. Weaving through the trees the course will test your management skills and ability.
Set under the shadow of the nearby mountains, the par 3, 15th at 208-yards is a challenging par three, the green is well protected and the front bunker to the right makes the hole look shorter than it plays.
An impressive clubhouse, traditional in style is superb. Spacious locker rooms include showers, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna for all visitors to use before or after their game. For those that prefer complete relaxation after their round, a team of massage therapists are available.
