We booked 5 rounds in Thailand. Everything went smoothly except there was some confusion with our booking at Chiang Mai Alpine on December 12 which was straightened out when the course called the help number. Also we didn't know that the bookings were not under our name (and sometimes not even under Golfsavers but seemed to be another agent name?) so this caused a bit of confusion too. It would be great if the booking could note the client name. My wife and I prefer to play as a 2some and this was always the case except at Chiang Mai Alpine we had to tee off earlier to be on our own. All the courses did a great job of managing slow play by switching groups between various nines and one time we bypassed the crowd at the starter to start on hole 5. All of our Thai caddies were excellent. Initially I had called some courses directly and had encountered some language difficulties (not to mention long distance phone charges). So using Golfsavers eliminated that problem. It was easy to add new bookings and modify existing bookings. The chat function was not online for us very often (time zone?) but I always got prompt responses to messages. The course descriptions were good but an improvement would be to add: details on practice facilities (if any) and which courses are cart path only (which I find very annoying and often walk more than with no cart). Also all the courses we played provided a locker and towel/shower after the round and that would be good information to include in the descriptions. Only one course provided us with a bottle of water and another had ice (no water) which was a bit surprising at high end courses. I seem to recall that transportation could be included in the bookings and would like to see more details including travel time from city center. Round trip taxis are expensive and we ended up finding a reasonable taxi guy in Chiang Mai and negotiating a discount for all our major transfers there. We didn't want to rely on Uber but tried that later in town with success. All in all a great value and time saver for the small booking fee. This was our first trip to Thailand so we found Golfsavers to be very helpful as we knew nothing about the golf courses here.
