Borella is the idea area to stay for a peace and quiet on a visit in Colombo. This area of the city has many small hotels and has less shops and restaurants. Despite this it’s a short distance from Kollupitiya, making it very accessible to the main cultural activities, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
