Hotels in Baguio

You may have pictures of magnificent white beaches, sparkling clean waters and amazing palm trees when you think of the Philippines so that Baguio city can come as a surprise. Baguio City is located at a height of 1450 meters in the Cordillera Mountains on the island of Luzon in the Philippines and has many nicknames such as "The Summer Capital of the Philippines" due to its cooler climate and the "City of Pines" owing to the many pine trees that surround it.

The best place to stay in Baguio is the town centre as this is where the primary tourist district is situated and where the largest concentration of hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, stores and tourist attractions are situated. Most things are within walking range of the region and the town centre has the most public transport, so you can quickly get around Baguio if necessary.

East Baguio is near to the town centre with excellent public transport connections and is another particularly secure neighbourhood for staying in this portion of Baguio. This region makes you enjoy your mind-blowing environment, focusing on Mine Views Park, which has wonderful views of the valleys, hills and overlooks Itogon's mining city, as well as seeing some of the indigenous Igorots roaming the park. There are also a few markets open on weekends that have plenty of souvenir stalls as well as places to sell food and other comparable tourist products.
