Travel to the south of Manila in Philippines and within just over 2 hours you will reach the City of Tagaytay. Much smaller than Manila and with a population of just 72,000 people, Tagaytay has become a great place for tourists due to its cool climate and lovely scenery.
This has also made it a good place to play golf and Tagaytay golf packages are very popular with people from all over the world.
The temperature rarely goes above 30 degrees yet remains nice and warm for playing golf in short sleeves. For those wanting to avoid the rain, it is best to book Tagaytay golf packages between the months of January and April.
It is possible to enjoy a golf trip to Tagaytay in a short amount of time and the Tagaytay Golf Break is 3 nights, encompassing two rounds of golf. Having checked into your hotel and enjoyed a breakfast the following morning, the first of the two rounds will be played at Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club.
There are two 18-hole golf courses at this venue and three themed residential areas called The Highlands, the Midlands and The Greenlands.
The golf courses offer some of the best mountain views in Philippines with Mount Makiling and Mount Banahaw being two of the most prominent. The dramatic changes in elevation make the golf courses at Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club an exciting place to play and a cable car system has been installed to transport players between some of the holes.
On the second day of the Tagaytay Golf Break you will enjoy a round of golf at Splendido Taal Golf Club. This golf course has been designed by Greg Norman and is set in a spectacular location. You will enjoy views of the mountains plus the Taal volcano and lake.
There are four sets of tees on the course, making Splendido Taal Golf Club good for players of all abilities. It has played host to several tournaments including the 2017 PGT Asia and Delimondo National pro-am. For those who do not like a great deal of water coming into play during a round of golf, this course is ideal.
There are several lakes dotted around the 18 holes but they are not all major hazards unless you are wayward off the tee. However, there is one hole which requires a shot over water to reach the green.
If playing only two golf courses is not enough for you, why not extend your stay with a longer Tagaytay golf package? You could include both golf courses at Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club in addition to a round at Splendido Taal Golf Club or book an extended holiday which adds golf courses in other regions of Philippines.
