Grace Ridge Country Club which is operated by PGM is a very beautiful golf course offering panoramic views overlooking the Zao mountains in the west and the Pacific Ocean in the east . The courses looks particularly attractive when set against the blue sky and the lush greenery of the trees. Its quite a hilly course that  requires good courses managament and demands accurate shot-making both off the tee and for your approach to the green. The clubhouse is reminiscent of a European palace and is very luxurious.

Matsushima Chisan C.C. Osato Course one of the longer courses in this large golfing complex but is reasonably forgiving with wide open fairways and not too many water or other hazards.

A long par 5 to  start off your round and as long as you can keep it on the fairway it should not cause too much trouble.  The fourth is a short par 3 and the easiest hole on the course and offers a good birdie chance.  This is followed by a short par 4 which is a downhill right dogleg which the very low handicappers might reach with their drive.  The rest of the holes on the opening half are pretty straightforward and are all long, straight and flat.

Another long par 5 to start the inward nine and this is the most difficult hole on the course - mainly because of its length.  This is followed by two challenging par 4's and the most interssting holes as you make your way home are  the two short holes:  The par 3 is well protected by two greenside bunkers and is made more difficult if the wind is blowing and the 16th which requires a tee shot over water.

Matsushima Chisan C.C. Sendai Course is an excellent golf course in the Miyagi District of Japan and is very popular with local and visiting golfers.  Its a pretty typical Japanese layout with long, staright fairways lined by light rough and trees.  There is the occaisional gentle dogleg hole.

Most of the fairways are wide and easy to hit for most golfers and there is virtually no water except for the 17th and even then it doesnt really come into play.

The third hole on the Yaotome courses is the most difficult hole on the courses measuring 432 yards from the regular tees and you need to find the narrow fairway weith yoru drive to have any chance of reaching the green which is protected on the right side by a water hazard lined by a beach bunker. You don't get much respite on the next hole which is a severe dogleg with bunkers guarding both sides of ther fairway.
