The hotel was located away from other establishments, which meant that it was tranquil and a good place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was also pretty self contained, with free (and paid) activities that the whole family could enjoy together. We were pleasantly surprised that there was an adequately stocked (free refreshment/snacks) lounging area by the lobby. Excellent onsen on site. We drove, so, getting around the region was not an issue. Language and communications was not an issue as most of the staff could converse in English
