The Movenpick is in a lovely old building which has been renovated to European standards but still retains its Vietnamese flair. As you would expect from such an old building, the public areas and the rooms are quite small by modern standards, but they have been very well designed, and they have added some Vietnamese touches throughout. Check in procedures were very slick. Great cocktails in the bar and good value during happy hour but service was painfully slow. Beds were comfortable and the showers were hot and strong.
