Phoenix Golf and Country Club is around 30 minutes outside Pattaya. The course was originally designed by Denis Griffiths in 1993 and the three course are spread over more than 1,000 rai and having been around for so long the course is blessed with may mature trees and colourful local plants.

In addition there are plenty of lakes, ponds and bunkers to ensure that the golf course has some protection

The Mountain Course offers golfers a wonderful view of one of the famous local landmark which is a huge image of a Buddha carved into a sheer cliff face with a laser. The narrow undulating fairways and the fast greens will provide a stern test for all golfers.

The Lakes Course rewards golfers who can keep their drives on line so ensuring the best position for your layup to the greens. The course is sprinkled with many beautiful ponds and small lakes and few strategically-placed trees and bunkers to challenge most golfers.

The Ocean Course is a favourite with local Pattaya golfers as many of the fairways are lined with mature trees but it is now undergoing a major renovation and to modernise the layout and it is expected to re-open in early 2016.

What a fantastic experience!

A day out at the golf course is not just a round of golf. Right from the start, I felt welcome at this beautiful course. The friendly and professional staff all made an effort to let me feel welcome. The course itself is in great condition. It took me a while to get used to the greens because they are slower than most courses I play here in Vietnam. Caddy 402 was exceptional. She was really good in all aspects. Most of the other players and caddies that I have seen were very friendly, something you do not see everywhere nowadays. Thank you to everyone who helped make this an unforgettable experience. It was great value for money, and I would definitely go back there to enjoy my golf.

I found this course to be quite challenging and long, but very enjoyable to play. The outlook on Khao Chi Chan Buddha makes the course really unique and adds to the enjoyment of playing it. The food was great, and the locker room was clean and tidy, but just not as good as other courses we played during this trip. I will definitely play this course again in the future.

More than ten years ago I had played at Phoenix’s golf club. since then I have came back again there is still fun and challenging. Because they are Improve the course and new greens transform the phoenix to the phoenix gold. That’s making the players having more fun and challenging their skills. The overall of the golf course is very good, the service is very good and the caddies are very politely.

Have not played at Pheonix for approximately 5-6 years, course was in good condition had a great day, caddies were a lot of fun, look forward to going back.
