Yangon Experience

2 Nights / 2 Rounds
Yangon Golf Club Pun Hlaing Golf Club Shwe Dagon Pagoda Yangon City View

It will not be long before golf in Myanmar becomes very popular, so this is a great time to enjoy a short golf break in Yangon before it gets over-crowded and spoilt.

You can vary this package as much as you like – add extra rounds and change golf courses if you want to try something different.

This Yangon Experience package includes rounds atd two of Yangon’s best golf courses:

Having been established in 1909, Yangon Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Myanmar and although the actual name of the designer is unknown, the British played a big role in opening the course. Yangon Golf Club is located a 25-minute drive north of Yangon Town and is very easy to reach.  Water plays a huge role on the layout of the golf course and is a feature on no less than 14 of the holes.

Pun Hlaing Golf Club offers an 18-hole, par 72 golf course, playing to a total of 7,012 yards from the championship tees.  The course was designed by nine-time major tournament winner, Gary Player and was opened in 2000.  The course is laid out on what were previously paddy fields and the meeting point of three different rivers, the Hlaing, Pun Hlaing and Yangon rivers.  There are great views of the rivers throughout the course, in addition to the Shwedagon Pagoda, which is a magnificent gilded stupa, located in Yangon.

You will have time to visit this magnificent Pagoda during your short visit to this fascinating country.
